Advantages: Good slides, fun for all ages Disadvantages: Quite expensive, Master Blaster queues
...I looked into the Cariba Creek waterpark and although it seemed expensive, my boyfriend is a big fan of waterparks so we thought, why not? Cariba Creek Waterpark is located at the Splash Landings Hotel at Alton Towers. Entrance is free if you are staying at the Splash Landings Hotel, but day visitors pay £12 per adult and child (though under 4's are free). A family ticket is available (2 adults and 2 children OR 1 adult and 3 children) for £37.50 ... ...We went to Cariba Creek on a Sunday, in the school Easter Holidays. It opened at 11:30am and closed at 8pm. The closing hour was two hours later than quoted on the official Alton Towers website. Hotel guests gain early entry from 10am.
Anyhow, so we got to the waterpark joined a small queue and paid our entry. They gave us a wristband to wear for the day to prove we had paid. We trekked through to the changing rooms...it was a unisex very large ...

Advantages: Fantastic water cannons, lots of ways to get wet, the water coaster, hot tubs, great waterslides.. Disadvantages: ...And would love there to be more!
The Cariba Creek Waterpark is the waterpark at Alton Towers. It is built into the Alton Towers Splash Landings hotel. It has many indoor water cannons, hot tubs, waterslides and even a water coaster! This is my experience. My parents and I were staying at the Alton Towers hotel, (we have the Merlin Pass so we decided it was worth going to Alton Towers.) we stayed there for two nights and on the second day we decided to go to the Cariba Creek Waterpark. ... ...the reception floor, we passed through some rooms than we noticed the carpet changed...so we knew that we WERE in the Splash Landings hotel. We brought our tickets, but because we were staying at the hotel, we got a discount, if you stay at the main hotel you get a discount (like us,) but if you stay at the Splash Landings hotel, it's free. Under 3's are also free. It was £29 for all three of us. In my opinion, this is great value for money! Then ...

Advantages: Great and entertaining for a whole day Disadvantages: Expensive food outlet
Alton Towers Cariba Creek Waterpark what a great way to spend a day. Initially the cost of the day for a family is around £45 but I thought this was great value for money for a family of four for a whole day. There are plenty of changing facilites and lockers. On entering cariba creek swimming pool you are given a wrist band, once you go down an inside slide your picture is taken, you check the monitor and if you like the picutre you scan your band ... ...and view the pictures. These are reasonably priced. There is no time limit whilst you are in the pools. The pools are great warm, and entertaining and offer lots of different sized pools for different ages. There are of course shallow pools, deep pools and the rapids, All these cater for the different ages and are all very good. There are lots of benches, seats, chairs for resting on when you are not in the water. Take a magazine or newspaper grab ...

Advantages: Fun in the fake sun, brilliant for all age of kids Disadvantages: Hard on the wallet
Cariba Creek Water park is located in the Splash Landing Hotel.
Weird I know but this quirky location makes at all the more worth while.
Entry Cost : Your talking a good £45 for a family of four, exspensive maybe but what you will find inside is worth it. If you are staying at Splash Landings your entry is free to the waterpark
Once Inside : It`s just like a mini caribbean holiday resort, you`ll soon forget its raining and cold outside! There ... ...the park.
The pools are all varied in depth allowing your young ones to be in all the differnet pools.
There is a defined young kids area with water jets and mini slides. The whole area is tastefully decorated in old shack style design giving the feel of being tired and worn, but this is far from the case. There is plenty of chairs and tables, "sunbeds" and various other seating places for you and your family to relax. Food : There is a little ...
