I went to the Caribe Hotel in May 2007 whit week. Tour operator was Thomas Cook. We stayed half board.
First impressions were that it was lovely. Very clean entrance and reception and helpful staff. We had 2 rooms next to each other. 2 adults 3 children, each room slept 3 and there was ample room for all of us. The bathrrom had a bath with shower over which was very handy for our smaller children. Was also immaculatley clean. Towels were changed ... ...cleaning. If you werent out of the room when they were cleaning they simply came back later, no problem. Pool was lovely, playground good for the kids. My 2 girls loved the kids club and the Thomas Cook reps were very good with the children. The evening entertainment was ok, the kids loved the disco with the silly dances and the parrot show. There was a bloke who was lying on a bed of nails and walking on glass one night which my younger children ...

Advantages: Not many but fairly central Disadvantages: food, comfort, everything really
...makes! I went to Caribe in May 2008 and cannot agree with very much of the above. I travelled with Thomas Cook and cannot really say much good about them either. We were met off the plane and told which coach to get on. The Rep then said she could not come with the coach and it was a case of if you see the name of where you're staying get off because the driver never said a word. If I hadn't have looked out the window at the right time then I would ... ...remote. If you don't want to get 2 buses to Ibiza Town then get the ferry. There are ferries leaving regularly for various parts of Ibiza and daily one to Formentara.
Ibiza is a pleasant island but Caribe hotel is somewhere I certainly wouldn't be going back to. ...
