We went on the Carnival Cruise Lines ' Sensation ' in September 2000 sailing from Tampa..This was our second cruise with Carnival, the first one was in 1996 from Port Canaveral ( yes next door the the Kennedy Space Centre)to the Bahamas for 5 days on the ' Fantasy ' which we thoroughly enjoyed, but was tooooooooooo short, we were only just getting used to it all when we had to get off....anyway back to the story..... ...safe to dock in Canaveral. Carnival Cruises laid on buses to shuttle us back to Canaveral and four hours later we were able to pick up our hire car and head straight to the airport. In all, the cruise was very enjoyable. There was all you could eat all day long laid on and plenty of things to do. However, the drinks at the bar were quite expensive and carried a service charge of 15% and the ship seemed a little bit too crowded. I would recommend ...

...and I recently took a carnival cruise on the Fantasy (The 4 day cruise out of Port Canaveral) as part of our honeymoon. Thank god that it was only part or it would have ruined the entire thing. To start, when we arrive we had to sit at the airport for an hour and a half waiting for a delayed group of people to arrive and ride the bus with us to the boat, which I understand and had it been the only thing that went wrong the trip would have been great. ...

...anyway. We boarded the carnival valor in miami for a 7 night trip to cayman islands, mexico cozumel, honduras and belize. The ship was large on eleven floors and had entertainment day and night for all ages. This cruise line especially caters for families and kids have so much going on including their own camp carnival where there is activities, ps2's, games and discos. ...this all inclusive trip and only cost £300 each per week booking it direct with carnival this obviously did not include flights but we incorporated this within a holiday to florida for 3 weeks and would of spent more on hotels and food for 1 week in florida im sure ...

Perhaps not for travellers more mature in age, Carnival offer a great cruise experience with some great ships. Entertainment is first class, with all ships featuring a big band style show band and in the main, live music for the shows, which feature imaginative productions performed by great singers and dancers. I really enjoyed this cruise, This was through First choice travel agents, we got a good deal, quite cheap from what I expected. around £700 each plus £120 for the drinks all inclusive card. I would recommend a cruise, again. It was mine and my boyfriends first cruise and we really enjoyed it. It was for 7 nights starting at Palma Majorca, the flights were easy only 2 hours, we were directed with ease to the ship. Easily boarded and our luggage was ...
