    The Casa Museo Quinta de Bolivar is an interesting place, and not just for its mouthful of a name. It’s a building that has had a chequered past, housing everything from a brewery to a hospital to a girls’ school, but is known (and named) for the fact that Simón Bolívar lived here, briefly, in the 1820s. How briefly, you ask? Well if records are to be believed, he lived here for 423 non-consecutive days from 1821 to 1830, so about 14 months over 9 years.     Advantages Advantages Beautiful house with gardens, Great location

    This was the house Simon Bolivar stayed in for longer than other any place in his adult age. It is where he spent the last years of his life with his mistress. If you know the story of Simon Bolivar this is a great place to visit for its historic value. The museum is inside this beautiful country house which is filled with furntiture of Bolivar's Era. It also includes Letters, documents, personal possessions maps, uniforms that have all helped to piece together events in his life.
