Castle Hill overlooks Huddersfield, and is a fantastic location for bird watching, dog walking, photography or just getting out into the fresh air. Settlement on the hill dates back 4000 years to an Iron Age Hill Fort, but settlement has been sporadic and it has remained as an uninhabited landmark for most of history. It's located quite a way outside Huddersfield, and is easiest to access by car, although there is a bus which stops just below the hill.
