Advantages: The archaeological site is something very different

My hubby and I recently visited Geneva for the weekend. We decided to look at the old town and came across the Cathedral. The hidden gem for us was the archaeological site underneath this lovely old church. This Cathedral is located in the old town of Geneva. Churches have stood on this site since the 4th century AD. Advantages: Very historic
Disadvantages: Spire dosen't seem to match & can never get a good picture

after construction began in 1160 the St Pierre Cathedral has been changing ever since. When it was first built it had a sort of Romanesque-Gothic look, but then when it converted to Protestantism in 1536 the Cathedral was stripped of altars, statues, paintings and furniture, only the stained glass windows were allowed to stay.
