Advantages: 100% relaxing, sunshine, warm sea, friendly locals. Disadvantages: Can feel isolated until you find out what else is around.
...can not be beaten. Cavus Bay, or Adrasan however, wins the lot! At first all there appears to be is a beach, a dusty road and a line of hotels and restaurants all penned in by mountains on every side. The perfect holiday for chilling out, but not really for the "18-30" brigade. Eating out is an experience, our favourite haunts were The Mithat, Paradise, Arikinda and Margarite. 3 courses with wine costs on average £10 each, but we were given so many ... ...I met there had visited Cavus over and over again, one couple had been going twice a year for the last 15 years! I think that says it all. There is something about the place that gets you hooked and, although we were the "virgins" on our first visit, it certainly will not be our last! When you get bored of lying on the beach all day, there are many other (hidden) attractions. Boat trips, Lycian Way walks, horse riding, camel riding, white water rafting, ...

Advantages: Peace and Quiet Disadvantages: Very basic facilities
...ever,then you should consider visiting Cavus bay(a.k.a.Adrasan)in the region of Antalya,in Turkey.
To anyone who has previously visited Turkey,you will be used to the pace of life here,and also the friendliness of the locals.
However,in Cavus,the pace is halved,and the friendliness is doubled.
There is only one street in Cavus which is in fact,a dirt track dividing the beach and most of the hotels.
The beach is about one mile long,and frankly ... ...pebbles.
To the rear of the beach are the hotels and restaurants.The hotels are generally small and family run,although there are a couple of larger accommodations.
The restaurants are of a surprisingly good quality;our favourites being the"Mithat"and the "Deniz".
If you don't mind a hot walk of around 25 minutes,Cavus has a hidden gem.
At the far end of the beach a tiny stream flows into the sea;strung along the banks of the stream are around ...
