When booking a hotel in London for the first time, it's hard to know where to book. We booked this one knowing it was close to the Tate and also to Westminster (the clue was in the name). We arrived on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised that the street outside looked very safe and that parking was free. Also no congestion charge! ...spent 3 night at the City Inn Westminster and it was excellent. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest tube station (Westminster Line) and situated near Tate Britain. We walked to Tower Bridge and the House of Parliament so its very easy to sightsee on foot. From the outside the hotel looked amazing and very modern and inside didnt disappoint.
