Amsterdam is a beautiful city with its canals and bridges, and such a pretty sight at night when all the bridges are lit up. It is full of Museums and Art galleries, so much culture; it really is a marvellous place to visit. Hotel prices range from £25.00 per night up to £80.00. Then of course you can stay in one of the many hostels for just a few pounds, it depends what you are looking for. I personally like a nice hotel and found the City Breaks ... ...from the airport to the city trains run quite frequently. When you first come out of the railway station the first thing to hit you is the mass of pushbikes; there are hundreds of them. Walking around the city is great you are forever looking around at the buildings because some of them are quite beautiful, but be careful when crossing the roads, they drive on the right and there are traffic lanes, tramlines, and cycle lanes to contend with.
