Advantages: enjoyable and sunny.
Disadvantages: maybe a ripoff for locals
Clarke Quay was historically known for its commercial position as a trading grounds for merchants in the earlier part of 19th century. It was along this side of the river that Sir Stamford Raffles sailed into what has been acclaimed to a natural port and harbour, to discover the island of Singapore.
