The mister Cala Romani competition is hilarious as guests are asked to do various activities like dancing to various different types of music, party piece (which could be anything they like) and various other things! There are also chances to perform on stage in Star Turn (I think that's what it was called), where you canshow off your ...

Returned after a 2 week stay Aug 08, 2 adults 3 children 13, 12 and 7. My main complaint with this hotel (apart from no air con!) was that the evening entertainment took place in doors. Us Brits don't get much chance to experience warm balmy summer evenings, I think the hotel would benefit from an outside stage. Pool was fab, food was fine, it did get repetative as it does in all AI hotels after 2 weeks and was far better than the Chinese in the ... ...hired a car from Eny in the village (this was the cheapest) for 4 days, hotel supplied picnic boxes which kids loved. We visited Valldemossa, Palma, Western water park and the pirate show. We all took part in the daytime activities and had great fun. My 7 year old played giant connect 4 against the teenagers and thrashed them! They loved the certificates and medals they were awarded and so did my partner grrrr! Advantages: Hotel staff, all inclusive, close to the beach, nice pools. Disadvantages: Limited activities in the town, repetitive & oily food sometimes
...and I have been to Club Cala Romani twice now and we would definitely recommend it for a cheap all inclusive holiday!
The hotel itself is very nice: very clean & well presented. The rooms are a little basic (but this never bothers us because we don't spend much time in them!) but clean and sufficient. The staff are very friendly and are fantastic if you've got children. The pools are lovely but very, very cold! The drinks are brilliant - made quite ... ...spirits in, which were sometimes too strong for me. The food is fine, but there isn't a lot of variety from day to day and is sometimes cooked in a lot of oil. While I am not vegetarian, I don't really eat a lot of meat and I found that many of the dishes contained meat - which my partner really enjoyed however. Advantages: close to shops and the beach,friendly,clean,a lot going on Disadvantages: only get a few drinksat a time
club cala romani is one of the best places i have been, i have been back there 3 times now,the situation to the town and beach is exelent only a few mins to both.The hotel is very clean,friendly and safe for kids.the staff can do no more for you then they do already,they are helpfull in all you ask of them.The food is second to non with even the most fussy person going away with a full tum.the entertainment is with a very good crew who are up for ... ...you can relax on a sunbed and there is not a fight with the preverbial germans to obtain one,or join in the all day and all night entertainment.with the best getting a well deserved gold ...yes gold medal,or a certificate to tell of your achievements,2 weeks is not always enough time there as it flies by when you are having as much fun as i know you will have.my booking is going in for next year already as i dont want to be left out when the rooms ...
