Advantages: Beautiful coastline and scenery Disadvantages: its cold and it rains a lot!
...The nightlife is brilliant in coleraine, with Portstewart and Portrush within 3 0r 4 miles from coleraine, they make a great combo and the three are known as the triangle. One bar you must go to is The Anchor. I used to work in this bar while i was at uni and ive never had so much fun during work since! The craic is brilliant and if you fancy something a little different - Bar7 is only across the road. If its a nightclub your after - the only place ... ...lots of caravan sites in coleraine, portrush and portstewart area, and B&B's so there is never a shortage of places to stay. People i find very very friendly. Its just an irish thing i think!!
You should definately come to visit coleraine or northern ireland in general. however, i wouldnt plan a long visit as you could see and do quite a lot in just 2 or 3 days! ...

Advantages: Beautiful and loads to do Disadvantages: rains alot
Most people not from Northern Ireland tend to dismiss it when deciding where to go on holiday, which is a shame beacause of what the north Antrim coast has to offer!
SIGHTS
Obviously the giants causeway is a must see. Its very beautiful, and good fun to climb around it! Theres also a cliff walk around there with nice views, and a gift shop on site. You can get a bus from the shop to the causeway if you dont feel like walking (its a steep hill!)
... ...visit if you're not afraid of heights! This is a rope bridge between 2 cliffs which is open to the public during the summer. Don't worry - its entirely safe!
Dunluce castle is so interesting to walk around. You can read all about the history as you walk around it.
Lets not forget the beaches! Portstewart strand and white rocks beack i reccomend. White park bay is also very nice.

Coleraine is a great town. Its 15 mminutes from the north coast and 5 minutes from the green countyside. Coleraine has a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, has a new 6 screen cinema only opened recently. It has a good shopping area which is pedestrian zone only. If you come to Coleraine you have all the local sites like the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and all that, but you also have Bushmills Distrilllery where they make WHiskey! And ... ...bike race. And if you're here in the summer you can come and watch the the famous Milk Cup which is a junior Football/soccer tournament with teams from around the world. Also in the summer months there are many band parades which are great colourful and musical. Coleraine is good beacuse you're not far from many beachs and also other small towns in the local area which are worth seeing and also other big towns like Ballymena or Antrim. Also , your ...
