The Comfort Inn, Manhattan. I travel quite a bit on business and always bid for my hotel rooms online. I’ve never been disappointed with the results of my bidding, but last December, ‘naming my price’ got me the Comfort Inn, Manhattan, which was quite 'ho-hum'. Disadvantages: No good views of NY from rooms

Yes, 2 hours after arriving in New York while we were happily shopping away at a great Macy's sell all the lights in NY went out!!!! Fortunately, we were staying at a hotel that really looked after their clients! The service during this difficult 2 days was above and beyond the call of duty. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that the staff could have done to make it any easier. They kept us very well informed of the progress of electricity going on ... Read review
