We have just spent the weekend at Coopers Campsite with our dog,it was a lovely weekend although the shower and toilet block is basic it was cleaned daily. There are some great walks and the views were spectacular. For once the weather did not spoil itself and we were able to sit outside our tent til 10.00 pm at night. Everyone on the site was very friendly it was our first camping experience and I would definately recommend it. It was a cheap weekend with plenty of fresh air exercise and the pubs all very good and animal and child friendly.
We will be coming back. Gill 6 August 07

Unfortunately we found the owner lacked social skills. We were 'welcomed' to the site with a stern telling ...
