Corsica is a beautiful island of the Mediterranean coast of France. The island offers sandy beaches, rugged coasts, mountains, wild countryside, fascinating towns and villages. Package tours have hardly touched the place, but it is a favourite destination for the French, Italians and Germans and it's easy to see why.

...the history makes them so. Corsica has been battled over by the French and the Italians, and so they have their own combination of influences which is totally unique. Having said that it is now a French island , but the Italian influence peeps out here and there. Back to the food, couldn't ask for better quality or value, absolutely superb.

...seven week working holiday In Corsica and I have to say I was amazed that I had never before heard of this beautiful island. It is overflowing with white sandy stretches alongside clear green blue sea.
