You can fly direct to Barbados non-stop with BA, Virgin and BWIA in about 8 hours. Cruise ships call at the island too, at the capital Bridgetown. Advantages: Beautiful Disadvantages: Lack of choice with Entertainment & food
Wasn't over inmpressed with crystal cove I think we may have had high expectations, although this is a beautiful hotel there wasn't alot in the way of entertainment/bars or food which disapointed us slightly.
The food we had was nice but there was not a lot of choice and the entertainment was none existant. Ok for people wanting to totally chill and do absolutly nothing! Although there is plenty to do off site we kept returning to place called Arbor ... ...top nite out!!
The beach here is lovely and the sea is out of this world, noone could say it didn't make you want to just jump in, it is so clear and great for getting up close to those fish!
Swimming pools are beautifully done but look too pretty to swim in.
If you order food from room service don't guarantee that you will get what you have ordered as we found ourselves with some weird combinations.
Wouldn't recommed for families or young couples! ...
