    Curepipe is a small town found in the centre of Mauritius, within the boundaries of the district of Plaines Wilhems. Mauritius is divided into districts and each district contain several towns and villages. Like Quatres-Bornes Curepipe can be considered as being among the main towns of Mauritius. It hosts not only the best shopping places, but many important offices and administrative buildings of Mauritius are found other there.     Curepipe is one of those little towns that you cannot miss while in Mauritius. Very representative of the mauritian's blend of Creole and Asian lifestyle. Curepipe is most known to visitors for the ship models shops where the biggest can cost up to £2000 and the smallest a mere £20. the streets are thronged with Dholl Puri sellers-the no 1 fast food[highly nutritious though], kind of crepe filled with a curry, tomato chutney and other little goodies.
