I found myself in Nottingham at on New Years Eve 2007 and, at the suggestion of a chum who is a big Gordon Ramsay fan, we went to a restaurant that the foul-mouthed chef had worked his magic on in his 'Kitchen Nightmares' TV show - Curry Lounge. Having just been to Curry Lounge in Nottingham this week 06-10-09 I just couldn’t resist having to write about my experience there! Being an Indian food fan and eating in restaurants such as Mumtaz and Akbars I was expecting A* Food, service and atmosphere. Who wouldn’t expect all that knowing Gordon Ramsey gave Curry house the thumbs up in the Channel 4 programme Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. Here goes guys brace yourselves, it’s going to be a long one. We came across the Curry Lounge after our visit to the theatre. Place was busy but we managed to get a table after short wait. The manager kept us informed, got us drinks and was informative about the new menu they had just launched. While waiting you cannot help notice the stylish decor, really amazing liight and water features. The big thing for me was the atmosphere, very buzzy, mixture of young and old and a happy place to be. So, not a bad pick so far. We were seated in a romatic booth and away we went.
