Dassia, Corfu

The Resort Dassia is located at the Northern end of the Greek Island of Corfu. The resort is about 1 mile long, through which travels a very busy main road. All the bars, tavernas, restaurants and shops etc are fronting this main road, most of them being located to the right hand side of the road, heading north. ...and the Magna Grecia. The Beach To the left hand side of the road, heading north you will find several dirt tracks, these all lead down to the beach. These dirt tracks are very hard to travel when you are attempting to push a pram, so I presume the same would apply for those accompanying wheelchair users and those who have difficulty walking. Review of Dassia, Corfu

My partner and I booked a last minute holiday and ended up in the resort of Dassia. We were pleasantly surprised by ending up in a resort that offered us exactly what we wanted. If we fancied a romantic evening together we chose from a good range of restaurants right on the beach, all offering extensive menus and very reasonable prices. However when we wanted a more lively evening we wandered into the town centre that, even though does not have a ...
...and dancing flows freely! For even more action the resort of Ipsos is a mere 5/10 minute taxi ride away. The beach in Dassia is pleasant and clean and offers volleyball nets, pedalos and bananas/ringo rides. There are also a good selection of hotel pools, tennis courts, pool tables etc. The many scattered bus stops make trips to other resorts, e.g Corfu Town very easy, and of course, the prices are cheap.
