Advantages: Good prices! Near(ish) to Alton Towers. Disadvantages: Basic (but do-able)
Location: The hotel is on the Westbound carriageway of the A50, and is just a couple of miles from the M1, off of J24. The A50 also joins up with the M6 at the other end.
This is close to the East Midlands airport, Derby, Donnington Park race Track and Alton Towers. Be aware the adverts say its just 30 mins to Alton Towers. Treat the journey as 40 mins and you'll be ok.
Note on Location: The hotel and facilities are ONLY available when travelling ... ...to go up to the junction with the M1 to be able to turn round (but its only a few mins away). Hotel or Motel:
If your expecting something like the Hilton or Holiday Inn (plush and fancy) then you wont like it here. If you're used to places like Travelodge or Travelinn (quite basic) then you'll be fine here. Think of this as a Motel and you wont go far wrong.
