    Advantages Advantages Excellent activities, good accommodation, not too pricey

    De Eemhof is a Center Parcs holiday village less than 40km east of Amsterdam and 40km north of Utrecht in the centre of the Netherlands. The main concept of Center Parcs is to provide a basic level of accommodation in woodland surroundings, while having plenty of energetic activities laid on. There are 4 Center Parcs villages in the UK, but more in the Benelux countries and Germany.     Advantages Advantages lots to do and good facilities

    Disadvantages Disadvantages extras can add up

    This summer we decided to visit some friends in Holland for a few days. As they had just had a new baby we wanted to stay somewhere near to where they lived in Appeldoorn, so that we could visit but also spend times doing other things too. At first I started looking at hotels, but after overhearing a conversation while waiting for my daughter at her ballet class, we decided to look at Centre Parcs. The thing that persuaded me was when I overheard someone saying that the Centre Parcs in Europe are not half as expensive as the ones in the UK.
