    Advantages Advantages Excellent service, beautiful grounds, superb accommodation

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not close to public transport access

    I have to say that this hotel is absolutely stunning! We were visiting friends who live in Norwich, and knowing our love of good accommodation, suggested Dunston Hall. Set over 100 acres of stunning grounds, you are greeted after a drive down the long entrance road, by at first impressions a beautiful Elizabethan manor house - We later found out that it was actually built in the 1850's on the site of the original manor house!     Disadvantages Disadvantages dirty and poorly manned.

    I cannot comment on the hotel itself. My hubby and i went to look at the fitness facilities. We arrived at the main reception desk - had to wait along time before someone came to greet us, even then were in the wrong place opps! When we finally got to the right area the receptionist was very friendly, but could not show us around the sports area as she was on her own, so asked us to go around by ourself. The gym epuipment was poorly maintained and filthy, it seemed very disorgainised. There was a water machine that was leaking, this had a towel wrapped around it which had soaked through - so ... more
