Advantages: wonderfully clean

The Dead Sea is well known for being the place where anyone can float. In fact it is all you can do in the sea as it is so saturated with minerals and salts which have great health giving properties.This is because it is the lowest place on earth and also one of the hottest. Advantages: Float in the Dead Sea
Disadvantages: Have to pay hotel prices as no local shops

...for 5 days at the Dead Sea resort of the Movenpick which is longer than the average tourist but we wanted to have more time to relax at the end of a hectic tour of Jordan. The hotel is stunning and attracts a large number of tourists from the Middle east and Europe. It has a number of restaurants and some small shops and quite extensive English language library.
