We took a connecting flight between Orlando and Atlanta and Atlanta to Gatwick So I got to sample both internal and international flights on the same day. I flew on Delta airlines about 5 times during November 1997 when I was on holiday in the USA for 2 weeks. Delta said that they were overbooked but would put them on a flight that would arrive at New York 2hours later that would still give them enough time to connect to their original flight home with Aer Lingus.
