Advantages: Clean, cheap, fast and efficient
Disadvantages: Occasional delays (but nowhere near as bad as in Britain), some trains are getting old

I have been to Germany 2 times, and have used the trains there 3 times. And i am thoroughly impressed as are most people across the Uk, in comparison to trains here. The fact that when you plan a journey through Die Bahn's website and it displays train times, fares and even (and prepare to be amazed!) the platform you arrive/depart from!
