Advantages: Lots to do for children,real driving and machinery,indoor as well as outdoor activities. Disadvantages: Can be expensive,queues at times for popular machines.
...are the main attractions at Diggerland, and there lots of staff to ensure safety on each ride, they ensure that all children are securely strapped in before they start driving.
The actual rides that can be driven are of course the most popular, but there are many many static ones that would tend to appeal to the younger visitor, it does state that all rides are suitable for over 5’s and I imagine that a parent could accompany a little one ...

Advantages: Keeps your men occupied & happy Disadvantages: A lot to pay if you just want to watch
I visited Diggerland, Kent in July 2007 - the first week of the school summer holidays- with my husband and 6 year old son. My son had been asking to go as a couple of his school friends had been and enjoyed themselves.

Advantages: You get to drive diggers. Good for young children. Disadvantages: Poor value, dodgy voucher offers
The day got off to a bad start. We had some vouchers offering half price entry from the "Days Out" magazine, but the site refused to honour them as "their pricing policy had changed". They offered us a 10% discount instead, and after some minutes fruitless arguing with the site manager I had little choice but to accept that. Turning around and walking out is a little hard with two excited 3-year olds in tow !

Advantages: Different from your average park-only 4 in england!!! Disadvantages: none
...a restraunt/bar just outside of Diggerland, and you still will be able to get back into the park!! However this is alot more expensive although the food is very very good!!
There is also a shop full of digger things, toys, clothes etc although it is expensive with a cap costing £6 (although with fuel prices these days, keeping those diggers running IS expensive, let alone the cost of the diggers themselves, e.g 'Spindizzy' cost the park £118,000!!!!!!!)
