What is Discovery Cove? Discovery Cove is an outstanding all day experience, the park is outdoors and is set out like a tropical island with Beaches, reefs, lagoons, caves and much more. ...was lucky enough to visit Discovery Cove for a half day trip and it was one of the best places I have ever been! I have previously been to a similar place in Jamaica called Dolphin cove but this place is much better! What makes this place so good is that the whole thing is made to be a complete day out. I have visited Discovery cove twice now, it is an amazing place. It is expensive but well worth it. It does pay to look around however but on average you could expect to pay aprox £140 for the dolphin experience and £80 without, make sure you get the double bungle where you get free entry to either Busche Gardens or Seaworld. Not only do you get to get to swim with a dolphin, you get to snorkle with schools of fish, pet stingrays (which is amazing), feed the stingrays and interact with birds of prey. Discovery Cove is situated in the Heart of Orlando, opposite Seaworld. Entrance To discovery, although expensive also inlcudes entrance to Seaworld. To swim with dolphins the total cost is $200 which workd out to be approximatelt £169. Within this price lunch, swimming in all the coves, wetsuits and snorkelling equipment is all included.
