...resorts are the budget lodgings Disney World offers its visitors, but gives their guests good value for their money. For people going to Orlando to see the Disney attractions, I recommend staying at any one of the Disney resorts for that portion of their visit. The perks that come with staying "on campus" outweigh what appears to be outrageous room rates. For anyone who is trying to keep expenses down on their visit, this resort is the way to go.

...of the better resorts in Disney World. It sort of stinks as a whole that everybody doesn't know it.
Everybody should try and avoid this CD.
I hope everybody who vacations a lot, will please go out and spend their good money at Disney World, but maybe avoiding spending on this one.

Advantages: Disney branding entertains the kids, staff very helpful, immaculately clean. Disadvantages: Food is dreadful, complex prices are extortionate. Minimal room facilities.

The All Star Complex is split into three sections, Sports, Music and Movies. Each complex is entirely separate from the other yet has the same array of facilities. ... ...Movies is the most distinctively Disney branded of the three hotels on offer. Everything about the complex screams Disney films with each apartment complex being devoted to one of four Movies "Toy Story", "Fantasia", "101 Dalmatians" and "The Mighty Ducks". ...and this was our first disney hotel experience and it was worth every penny. We will visit this hotel again in June 2007.
This hotel is very good value. The hotel is based on the movies theme and buildings so every where you look you can find giant characters from the movies like woody, dalmations etc. Take a walk round the whole resort you can get some great pictures. The hotel has two heated pools, an arcade, play area, food court, disney shop ... ...table and chairs, tv with disney channels, hair dryer and Safe. The room were very clean and they were cleaned on a daily basis. You can hire other items for your room like a fridge but they were hard to get hold of (Cost $10 p/n). Each building has stairs or a lift to each floor, hotel is only 3 storeys high.

...you are staying in a disney hotel you can buy goods in the parks pay and they deliver them to your room in about a day,this is brillant no carrying around.
They have a shop and games area all very well sitied and kept.
You can also catch the Disney transportation just out side the shop to all parks.You can also use these to visit the other 2 hotels they are well worth checking out.
You have a food court where you can get food at all times of the ... ...other places to eat outside disney eg burger king etc but it is convenient and they do a wide range,pizzas,chicken pasta,sandwiches,chips,cakes,salads and more.
In the morning a cart will go round the blocks of rooms and you can get drink refils and do-nuts,cereal and fruit that is a great idea.

...include easy access to all disney parks where disney offer courteous buses every 5 minutes to all disney attractions and parks. The only down side is these buses are always packed. The hotel itself is very family friendly offering goodsize accommodation each room has two kingsize beds, coffee facilities and bathroom with shower. Although the accommodation is quite basic it is spacious and clean giving ample clothing space, table and chairs, alarm/radio, ... ...there is a large souvenir disney gift shop offering just about anything. The foodcourt offers a variety of foods on a self service basis and prices are very reasonable and breakfast a must - you have to try mickey waffles their great. Pizzas, chips, burgers, main meal of the day changing daily, salads, deserts, icecream parlour i could go on and on. ...over there, and used the Disney buses every day, I don't think we waited more than 15 minutes for a bus.
We bought vouchers through Virgin (at our welcome meeting) to use Mears shuttle buses with a quick phonecall, this we used to get to Universal. Seaworld was easy, a Lynx bus goes straight there from the Transportation and Ticket Centre near the Magic Kingdom. And from Seaworld you can get a courtesy ride to Discovery Cove.

When we stayed at the disney all str movie complex in orlando florida. we found out that they were very good value for money.
In the hotel their was a good choice off food like fast food could be delivered to your door if you diidnt want to go out also in the hotel you could get fresh salads and soft drinks and other meals.
our rooms in the disney complex were small and compaired to the outhers we have stayed in on international drive. the decoration ... ...also a televison with the disney channel for the kids but you wont have much time for the tv as we never did. The free transportation to the theme parks were very regular and came every 10 minutes. all the staff were pleasent and very helpfull . when we stayed at the disney resort we could get in the park 1 hour before the park opened and stayed the extened 3 hours so we could see the parades .

Advantages: You will have to have no rental car you can get piacked up right from your hotel.It's great! Disadvantages: I have no cons to say about Disney All Star Hotels.
