Advantages: Family fun Disadvantages: Not within everyone's budget
Introduction.
This review is purely about Disneyland Resort in Paris. Now, I first went here in 1997 and since then I have returned on no less than five occasions. Each time has been brilliant and so this review is designed to give you as comprehensive an overview as possible, exploring accommodation in the Disney hotels, ease of access, of course the parks themselves and a whole lot more. Now I am fortunate enough to have visited the parks at ...

Advantages: Mickey and Minnie and all your favourite characters Disadvantages: Having to wait to go!
Disneyland Paris was opened in 1992. It is situated about 45 minutes away from Charles De Gaulle Airport.
Eilidh our newly 4 year old, had been desperate to see the Disney princesses and with her being near her birthday we decided that we should book and go over the weekend of her birthday.
Many companies do package deals to Disneyland Paris and we chose to go with Thomas cook signature as they seemed to give the best deal pricewise as well ...

...site. top hotel is the Disneyland, then the New York, Newport Bay, Seqoia Lodges, Cheyane, Santa Fe, Davy Crockett Ranch (self catering cabins)
We once stayed at the New York and got a free upgrade to a suite. It was heaven, two interconnected rooms, TV and videos, great views etc etc. But it is expensive.
The Disneyland is over the Park entrance. It is supposed to be fabulous but it sits over the entrance gates so I guess if you open the windows ...

Advantages: Clean, Happy, Fun Disadvantages: A little samey if you go there too often
...two. To get directly to Disneyland, you need to change at Chatelet Les Halles onto the red A4 line. Leave plenty of time for this option.
Otherwise, you can take the TGV which is the speedy speed speed train which takes about ten minutes. It is a lot more expensive, around thirty euros, but it takes you directly from CDG to Marne la Valee Chessy, which is where Disneyland is.
As I mentioned in the old review, you can buy pre-bought tickets ...

Advantages: Great Fun, Disney Magic! Disadvantages: Very expensive, not so much for adults
For those of you that read my reviews, about me etc you will know that I have long been looking forward to my short break to Disneyland Paris.
I booked a 3 day, 2 night package, staying at the hotel Cheyenne (on site) and travelling by Eurostar.
The cost of the accommodation, which includes a 3 day pass to both Disneyland and Disney Studios was £140 per person including breakfast (continental).
The Eurostar was an additional £100 per person.
Right, ...

Advantages: The Kids'll Love It Disadvantages: Outrageously Expensive; Not As Good As Disney Florida
If there's anything more likely to make my skin shrivel and my brain compress in horror than a trip to Disneyland Resort Paris, I've yet to come across it. Waking up to find Jade Goody in my bed might result in some shrivelling and so might being made to stand in a tank that's slowly filling with water while spiders are dropped on my head at the same time as being forced to eat live bugs and pretend that I'm some sort of celebrity. My repulsion to ...

Take lots of camera film – it is fairly pricey at Disneyland to buy.

Advantages: Loads to do. Plenty of fun to be had. It is Disney after all! Disadvantages: The crush at night to exit the park
Having recently returned from a week’s holiday in Paris, 3 days of which were spent in Disneyland Paris, I think that it is time to give you a detailed look at the park and its attractions. Is it a magical kingdom or a terrible disaster? Read on and see!
OK then, Disneyland Paris is split into 4 main areas, called lands:
You have Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Discoveryland. You also have Main Street USA, which is the front area ...

Advantages: Great Family Fun Disadvantages: Expensive, too much fast food
We braved Disneyland Paris in March last year. Three kids (4 if you count me!), then aged 1, 7 and 10, and 2 adults. Although the train station into Disneyland is smack bang in the middle of the Park, Studios and Village, we decided to go by car. Which by the end of the journey was not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
We opted for a 3 night, 4 day stay. Luckily as it was March, everyone seemed to have a 'kids go free' special offer on, ...

Having just come back from the resort, and with things still fresh in my mind I decided to put pen to paper and write my opinion.
How many of us can say we have never heard of some Disney character? None I expect? For nearly all of us, Disney had been a way of life for us – as we have grown up with the famous characters: Mickey Mouse and his friend Minnie: Pluto: Goofy: Donald and the rest. So I can now confess that it wasn’t solely ...

Advantages: Great for all ages, kids and adults alike. Disadvantages: Can be expensive getting there. Look around to get the best deal.
I went for a weeks holiday in France in Octobr, of which my family and I visited Euro Disney twice.
We had a two day pass which worked out at about £44 per adult and £33 per child aged three and over. Under 3's go free.
We drove there and didn't have much trouble finding the park. But I was suprised when we pulled into the car park to find it was about £4.50 to park your car there for the day. Theme parks in England let you park for free. ...

Thought I would share with you all our horrendous experience of `Disney'. Hope you have a bit of time, it goes on a bit.
Friends persuaded myself, husband, 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son to come along as they are regular Disneylanders'!.
The journey there was pretty pain free and arrived at our hotel "The Cheyenne" all in good spirits.
We dropped off all our suitcases and went straight back into the resort. As soon as we walked, sorry ...

Advantages: An elegant theme park, full of detail, adventure and Disney magic. Disadvantages: Lots of waiting to get on rides unless you buy a Fast Pass
OK, I went to Disneyland Paris about 2 or 3 years ago and, no doubt, everything's changed now, with a movie studios part. I also can't tell you about the minutiae of the facilities, the hotels or the standard of food in the restaurants. I also haven't actually been to the other Disneyland parks to give a proper comparison. What I can try to do is convey the essence of what has been created on a site outside Paris called Marne-la-Vallée, which is what ...

Advantages: Disnet without going to America Disadvantages: Not as good as america
In how to queue...... I thought it was a well-known fact that only English/American people knew how to queue but after this weekend I know for sure that other nationalities just haven't grasped the concept of queuing. In my weekend trip to Disneyland Paris I lost track of the number of French and Spanish children and (more concerning) adults that pushed past and jumped queues!
Anyway back to Disney Land Paris (DLP hereafter). I am not going to ...

Advantages: Magical fun Disadvantages: none except saving the money to get there
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto, name any one and immediately the word Disney springs to mind. Disney is arguably the best animators since our Walt began the company all those years ago. And unless you lived in a hole in some vast wilderness, Disney would have been part of your childhood in some form. Personally, I recall seeing Bambi at the cinema and crying my eyes out when Bambi’s mum died! (And that was last week!) So, with Disney being such ...
