Advantages: Something for everyone and relatively close to home! Disadvantages: Not always sunny weather
After visiting Disneyland in Florida back in 1997, I was very sceptical when I found out my next holiday in 2003 was to be at Disneyland Paris... All I could think was a scaled down, slightly less sunny and much less ethusiastic version of the one in Orlando, Florida! How wrong could I have been!....
1 eurostar journey and a 3 hour car drive later.. we were pulling up to our chosen hotel which we would spend 3 days at. It was Disneys Newport bay ...

Disneyland Paris Review ofDisneyland, Paris, Parisby
Loftysgirls
Advantages: Excellent for the kids Disadvantages: Expensive
I have just come back after a 3 night stay at Disneyland Paris. We stayed on the resort at the Sequoia Lodge.
My kids had an absolutely great time here and there was plenty for them to do. The whole place was very magical for them and they were up very excited every morning.
The parades (2 a day) were magical and a chance for them to see all their favourite characters. The characters did take turns to visit the hotel as well.
Having been ...

Advantages: Disney theme and characters well done Disadvantages: none
Love Disney You'll Love this - it is like stepping into one of Disney's films the parks theme is expertly created, it is definitely great for the children.
I actually went there with my team from work last Christmas unfortunately I was without my children whom would have loved it but we had a great day there.
Mickey & co were there in all their splendour, the floats were spectacular with accompanying music and lights - the highlight was when ...

It's my first review, so I hope you will be lenient with me because I'm french (I'm in ciao france>>> my name is bobborane) and I have 14 years old. I live in France , next to Paris, so next to Disney land Paris. I have already been there a lot .
Disney land Paris is an amusemant park who is next to Paris. You can go there by RER ( a tub) or by car. The park is cut in several part: Disney Village, Frontierland, Discoveryland, Adventureland, Fantasyland.

Advantages: great fun, memories will last a lifetime Disadvantages: will create a great big hole in your wallet
...the Hotel Kyriad, next to Disneyland, and flights from Birmingham to Charles de Gaulle. The first challenge we faced on arrival at Charles De Gaulle was getting from the airport to the hotel itself, which is made easy by the VEA Shuttle bus (14 euros each) that stops off at all the Disney hotels. The Hotel Kyriad itself was a lovely hotel served by a convenient bus into the park itself which runs every 5 minutes or so. Arriving early into the park ...

Advantages: It is the land of make believe Disadvantages: It's a long way to travel
You will need at least a 2 day pass to see what you need to see, but really it is better if you get a 3 day pass.
The parades are really breath taking and not just there to amuse the children. There is a number of parades on throughout the day and they are the same shows all month and then the month after that they change them.
But to see everything you really need to go to each one twice, there is that much going on that it is easy to miss things ...

I spent the week before August Bank Holiday in Disney Land Paris with my brother & 2 nephews.
After a lot of deliberation I ended up booking the package separately rather than go entirely through Disney Reservations. (I found by booking Eurostar on its own I ended up saving about £50.)
By staying in the Disney Park I found it easier to cope with 2 young children as we could walk everywhere and is all accessable by foot.
I thought that it ...

Advantages: magical fairytale for kids and adults alike Disadvantages: extremely expensive!
my family and myself went to disneyland paris approx 2 years ago. My family consist of myself, my husband and our three sons who were then aged 3, 11 and 14.
We travelled to paris by eurostar and arrived virtually on the doorstep. our luggage was taken straight to our hotel, which was such a help. We were given our park passes on the eurostar and this enabled us to go into the park straight away.
We decided on the Newport Bay hotel and found our ...

Advantages: Easy travel by Eurostar and entertaining holiday Disadvantages: Can be expensive
If you live in the UK then it's a short and an ideal trip to go on with the kids. They get to meet Mickey Mouse and all the Disney characters they want in France. It's an entertaining break for the whole family that can be exciting and fun.
It's a smaller version than the one in Florida, but it's great too, because it's in Paris where you can visit all those other places that you're hoping to see in Paris. The rides are great. There is the start ...

Advantages: OK day out if you are passing Disadvantages: mainly for kids, nothing special
I have been to DisneyWorld Florida and wasn't expecting Paris to be as good. Good job really otherwise I would have been really disappointed.
If I made the choice again I wouldn't bother going to Disney World Paris. If you have been to Florida you will find that the rides are not as good and the staff are not as friendly. Also it's not the same queuing in the rain as it is in the sun.
Disney World Paris has been built to entertain children ...
