Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Fun for all ages, excellent atmospere
Disadvantages: Very expensive, not alot of toilet/baby changing facilities

...recently came back from Disneyland Paris Resort. Well what can I say WOW. What a fab time was had by all the family. This was a family trip which included a range of ages from 18 months to a grand old age 60 year old. And I am pleased to say that there was something for all the ages concerned. I would say that the 2 very young ones did come a litle restless from waiting in ques. And yes some of these ques were a fair wait. Ranging from 30mins to ...
...the new Hollywood Hotel Terror ride. This is not a cheap holiday places I would advise if you are to go take more than enough cash, as things are very expensive. But never the less its is worth while going. The resturants in the parks themselves mainly consist of fast food which is alot more expensive than usual. Also if the weather is fine I would advise to take own juice or pop as these prices are quite inflated. There is however the odd waterfountain ...

A great place for the children!!!!!

Advantages: lots to do, helpful staff and characters, great accomodation and food
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

I went to Disneyland Paris last year with my husband and three children. We arrived after quite a long drive. The only real problem we faced was that the tour operator told us it was a 20 minute drive once off the ferry, but 5 hours later we finally got there. We stayed in the new lodge that had just been built and I can't remeber the name - it had a shipping theme and there were rooms that could cater for up to 10 people unlike the hotels. This ...
...letter addressed to him from Disneyland Paris. He opened it and it was a letter from Donald Duck with a photo of Donald, Mickey, Goofy etc. There were about 7 characters and they had signed the photo above their pictures. My son was delighted and I found this a great gift for him and it showed us all that the letter had been handed to Donald and he had kindly replied. A great place to visit and well worth the money. ...

simply magical

Advantages: great experience, easily accessible.
Disadvantages: over priced food

Now i know that many people say that disney is a sell out and its just a money making corporation.... to those people i say loose your life and act like a kid again for once. Sure Disney ate a hole in my pocket with all their ploys to sell you overpriced food and souveniers, but really no price could be placed on the magical experience my partner and I experienced at the Disney resort and parks in Paris. First class service all the way, surprising, ...
...given extra information about best times for different rides and shows. Having stayed in the resort the extra park hours are great to go on those popular childrens rides that us adults would like to experience as well. Character opportunities were a plenty and easily made fun by the chaperones. Shows were always energetic and enjoyable and well viewed from all places. The parade makes this park. I cannot explain the feeling that we left with each ...

I really hate Disneyland paris

Advantages: noine
Disadvantages: Overcrowded, Unsafe, Unfriendly employees Misleading

Last week as we planned before, me, my mum, my husband and 2 children (10 and 3) decided to travel to Paris and visit Disneyland. I bought the ticket on the internet and printed off at home before we travel. On 3rd July 2009 we arrived at the park about 12.30 pm. Parked the car and head toward the park. We got our fast passes and clear stamps on our hands before entering the park. At the beginning we were very excited. Specially my little one was ...
...and we had to go back to England the same night, I decided to go to the Walt Disney Studios Park to get the 2 fastpass for attractions that we wanted to ride before we go home. I spoke to my husband and asked him to stay with the children at the Space Mountain and I will be back in no time. When I went out of the park none of the parks didn’t let me in because I didn’t have the printed ticket with me. I explain that I didn’t know I should take it ...

Disney magic

Advantages: It has plenty of disable facilities and is suitable for all ages
Disadvantages: none

...When we arrived at disneyland it was quite amazing the children thought that it was magical and were raring to get in.There would be a ticket collection at the begining were you put your ticket through the slot and the turn style lets you through.(It has a dissable entrace/push chair.) DisneyLand had lots of different sections such as fantasy land and adventure land. Some more suitable for different age groups. It also had the outer sections such ...
...lots of different priced souverniers ranging from 5 Euros to 500 Euros.(the jwellery was the expensive items. There were little rides for the younger children but there were also the more scary(white knuckle rides)for the grown ups and the older children. There were food stands around the park were you could buy drinks, crisps and hotdogs etc. There were also restaraunts in all the sections of the park. They had the daily parade were mickey mouse ...

Fun way to spend a day but...

Advantages: easily accessible from Paris, great decor and a very good overall experience
Disadvantages: fairly expensive, long lines and better for children than adults

...big part of what makes Disneyland a good experience, the moment you step in your are back in your childhood. third, there are enough attractions for you to be busy all day even if you don't want to ride the same attraction twice. Finally, there is a attraction that i particularly loved and that it pretty unique called "space mountain" where a big canon sends you into space at a very high speed, and the entire ride is in the dark, avoiding planets, ...
...idiana jones and the mine train. Now the not so good points: everything there is pretty expensive (tickets, food, drinks, souvenirs...). The line is usually very long for each attraction so I would suggest getting the fast pass (a card that allows you to go through a much faster line, sometimes with no line at all). Finally, there are not that many rides for adults, it's mainly for children or young teens. for more hogh speed and scarier rides, I ...

Disneyland - The time of my life

Advantages: Fun, suitable for every type of person, once in a life time experience
Disadvantages: Busy and other visitors can be pushy

...a 5 day trip to Disneyland Resort in Paris with my Fiancee. This was a once in a lifetime holiday with so much to do and so much fun it was unbelievable. Whether you are a 3 year old child looking to meet Disney characters or a 70 year old trying to relax there is really something for everyone. Before going this was a bit of a worry for me as my fiancee and I are so different, Me being a child at heart and enjoying the most simple of things and my ...
...holiday was spent at the disneyland park, Again absolutely amazing with something for everyone from the smallest of rides for the children to the huge rollercoasters for those that are a little more adventurous. The one down to the whole experience would be how busy it gets, Some of the rides the ques would be an hours wait but this is easily solved by getting a fast pass ticket which then allows you to go back within a specific time period and get ...

When we finshed some of the rides we went to the castle inde there were some rides and about 3 or 4 shops and if you go up stairs you can see stain glassed windows of the characters. Fun Fun Fun

Advantages: Very helpful for families with disabled children
Disadvantages: If in the wrong hotel, quite a distance to walk with young children through the Disney village.

...the second time at the Disneyland Hotel. Although the Sequoia was cheaper to start with, the sheer handiness of staying at the Disneyland Hotel outweighed the extra cost. The walk through the Disney village the first year was horrendous at the end of the day, with 3 very tired children and there were plenty of tantrums from children and adults alike. Also if you decide to stay at the Sequoia, make sure you pay the little extra to have a room in ...
...morning. Staying at the Disneyland Hotel was pure luxury, expensive yes but well worth it. Onto the parks, we found an excellent regime in place for disabled persons . On arrival at the parks, if you go to City Hall and show evidence of the disability, they will give you disabled passes. This will enable you to go to the exits for priority boarding to the rides, believe me, with autistic children this was an absolute godsend. A favourite of the ...

For the adults who never grow up

Advantages: Great place, rides, characters
Disadvantages: Can be a bit expensive in places

Having been to Disney Land Florida, I was a bit dubious at visiting EuroDisney, as I had been told a few horror stories about the place. Myself and my wife took our son who had just turned 4 to Eurodisney in May 07. And I can honestly say we had a fantastic time. The weather was great, and the park itself is an unforgettable experience. With many of the attractions that appear in its mother Florida resort, plus a few attractions which are not in ...
...Peril ride, and the fantastic Space Mountain (although they do have one in Florida, this version is out of this world). Parades happen 3 times a day, with character meetings throughout the day as well. Our son really enjoyed meeting the stars, although some of the stars only write the character names in French. For example we met Smee from Peter Pan, and he signed my sons autograph book as Ma Mouche. And now with the opening of the Disney Studios, ...

Santa -Fe Hotel Disneyland Paris

Advantages: location, clenliness
Disadvantages: shuttle bus quing system and no tea making facilities in rooms

My self, my husband and our two children aged 5 and 2 visited this hotel in the Disney hotel chain in November 2008, we drove from our home in Yorkshire and travelled by ferry from Dover to Calis and then drove to Disneyland, which took about 3 hours, in my opinion it wasnt that bad a journey kids were occupied and slept most of the way. On arriving to Santa-Fe the reception area was impressive as the Disney characters were signing autographs and ...
...children while my husband joined the 'conga type' que, The staff were very friendly and kept the guests amused whilst waiting, they were able to speak mulitple languages which i feel is a must for working in places where people from all over the world visit. After about half an hour of waiting to check in and choose what time we would ike to eat breakfast we were given a map to our room, on arrivel we found our room, which was clean and comfortable, ...

I despise you Disneyland paris

Advantages: NONE, SHAME ON YOU DISNEY
Disadvantages: way too busy, very expensive for what it is, not fun for my son,

...was booked, three days in disneyland paris, my husband my 4yr old son and me. When we arrived I couldn't believe how busy it was for starters, honestly like cattle being moved from one place to another, and the queues for all the rides were unbelieveable, i mean com on, my son is four and cannot wait for up to two hours just to go on one ride for goodness sake. every ride was the same huge waiting times, on every single day we were there. Also the ...
...because the only times you could meet, say mickey was to queue up and then pay for the photo, There is also no play area like swings or a slide, nothing like that, just more queuing and shops at every turn. The food is very expensive and not very good. BOOK IN ADVANCE because otherwise you will have to wait up to three hours for service. im sure that walt disney would be turning in his grave if he saw exactulaly what has become imagination of a ...

Totally magical but a little expensive!

Advantages: Wonderful, magical place for adults and children!
Disadvantages: High prices in the restaraunts and souvenir shops

Amazing not only for our 2 1/2 year old but also for my husband and I!! We went at christmas and it was perfect. Loads of things to do. The rides don't cost extra but the restaraunts and souvenirs are expensive. Our daughter wasn't too young, there are rides for all ages, she went on the giant spinning teacups, dumbo ride, huge carousel, honey I shrunk the audience and many more. There are set timetables for meeting the main disney characters eg ...
...own with them and the queues can be long but there are other characters all around the park with no queues and we got good pics with about 8 different ones. also Mickey is wandering around for most of the day to meet the children. All staff are friendly and helpful and most speak english. There's so much to do, I think you would need at least 2 whole days in the park to do everythng. The queues to get into the park are really long but do actually ...
