I was staying at the Dolby hotel during the beatleweek in 2006. It was nice and the price was very cheap. It was a familar hotel and we enyoyed the staying.
I had already booked the hotel for the 2008 beatleweek.

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful. Disadvantages: Not enough room to swing a cat.
Ive now stayed in this hotel in Liverpool twice.Its located by Albert dock which is about a five minute taxi ride away from the city centre and cost about £3.50 each way.
The hotel only costs £34.00 per room per night.It has a double bed in the room with a single bunk bed on top, therefore sleeps three people unless you manage to get another in the cupboard.The bed only have one pillow per person and the bedding is very hard (So watch for friction ... ...w/c and shower.The television has basic SKY channels, whcih is handy for watching Johnny Bravo cartoons after a night on the town.
The hotel has a car park and a restauant for breakfast.The bar is expensive but the staff are very friendly.I would recommend this 2 star basic hotel as a stop over hotel if you are after a night on the beer.I wouldnot recommend it for children as it can be very noisy of a night when the pubs shut. ...

A great, modern hotel. Cheap and cheerful. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. The restaurant is ok. The bar is ok. The rooms are modern and functional.
I liked it here. The staff were friendly and it is located close to the Albert dock, and Harry Ramsden's is a bit of a walk the other way.
It was a bit noisy. This is probably the cheapest hotel of any quality in the centre(ish) of Liverpool and tends to be busy. I had no complaints. Probably not worth taking ...
