Irelands hidden treasure
Review of Donegal (Ireland) by
Maia
Advantages: Stunning scenery, good craic, not touristy
Disadvantages: Slightly inaccessible

The Road to Donegal
Review of Donegal (Ireland) by
HappyBunny
Advantages: Lovely scenary, Short distance between each attraction, Cheap car fuel!
Disadvantages: The road signs can be hilariously confusing sometimes

Review of Donegal (Ireland) by
kfingleton
Advantages: Ireland's most beautiful county
Disadvantages: Too far up for some, the roads

Donegal is in the very Northwest tip of Ireland, presume that many people haven't even heard of it, so I suggest you get a map out now. It's only a couple of degrees cooler than ...

The best place in the world
Review of Donegal (Ireland) by
gallaron
Advantages: Beautiful and uncrowded.
Disadvantages: Inaccessible
As a native of Donegal I found it interesting to find some reviews of my lovely county. Donegal without doubt is the nicest county in Ireland scenery wise and people wise, although some other counties have some wonderful features there's a wonderful mix in Donegal. If you wanted to start I'd suggest South West Donegal and go up along the coastline. In Donegal town make sure you visit the Castle and the ruined Abbey down by the quay. Then carry on ...
