Dubai Airport is one of my favourites - providing there is plenty of time to appreciate all it has to offer. Travelling into Dubai - Be prepared for a lot of walking - the exit seems miles away from the plane! There are moving walkways to help make the distance shorter, and if you are elderly, there is a buggy which drives along the walkways to save your feet. Can't think (or imagine) a better airport for duty free shopping both for selection and price. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space and without the usual grind, queues and shoving of other airports.
