...place in Florence is the Duomo which seats right in the centre of the city. It forms the city's skyline and it's also the symbol of the city. . The legendary duomo is famous for its dome: Brunelleschi's Renaissance masterpiece, completed in 1436, created a double dome shell so that the dome is entirely self-supporting. Its the image that comes to mind when people think of Florence. The huge cathedral with the enormous dome and the bell tower by its side are awe-inspiring to look at. ACCESS The Cathedral is located right in the centre of Florence. You can't really miss it because of the enormous dome and the bell tower which stands along side it. I'm not sure about the local public transport becuase I walked everywhere, its so central that you won't need anything ... Read review
