    EAST LINKS FAMILY PARKEast Links family park started as East Links farm many years ago and has grew over the years into a large family park. It opened its fortress in March 2010. It also has a railway safari, cafe, many animals, play/adventure park, trampolines, duck pond, indoor play areas, mini tractors, family go karts to explore the park and more. East Links family park is near Dunbar and right next to the John Muir Country Park. It was easy for us to get to from Edinburgh and took about 30-40 minutes.     East Links Family park is half a mile from the Beltonford Roundabout just off the A1 next to the Village of West Barns in East Lothian. This is about a 65 minute Drive from the west of Edinburgh. It is clearly sign posted and we found it quite easily. Just before you enter West Barns there is a left hand turn down a single lane track with little lay-by's to let you get passed other vehicles. Then you have the turn off for the John Muir Country Park. Continue on and you will see the sign saying entrance to East Links. The car park isn't your typical car park.     Our party ranged from 69 year old to 10mths old including a stroppy teenager and there was something for everyone. It was a really cold day but that didnt spoil the day at all. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone amused from karts, to animals, to trampolines, soft play and arts and crafts (we went at easter and enjoyed decorating eggs) All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The train was free and it was a good way to see the animals my 3 year old loved being able to feed the animals as we went around on the train.
