Another flight with Easyjet with no problems.
This was about our 40th trip with Easyjet in the last 5 years since I was made redundant.
TOUCH WOOD, we are still not to experience any problem with them, I wonder why perhaps following the RULES Helps.
First BOOKING.
We decide where we want to go to, we then see which Budget Airlines FLY there, and at this stage do a bit of RESEARCH, after all is that not what the WEB is for.
We check where the ... ...place and the cost of these.
After all you would not like to FLY into LONDON LUTON, LONDON STANSTED and then seem surprised how far they are from TRAFALGAR SQUARE. After all this is OK for those foreigners to put up with but we BRITS should not have to put up with it when flying abroad.
Next when booking, TAKE YOUR TIME check out all the Extras and if you dont want them make sure to click all the boxes to remove them.

...Paris and we were using Easyjet to get there. Now as you may understand as a first time flyer I was a little nervous to say the least. This was partially due to my fear of heights and the idea of being aloft at 29,000 ft in a pressurised metal can for an extended period. So swallowing my fear and grabbing our bags we left for the airport.
Our departure point for this extravaganza (or fearfest in my case) was Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and after ... ...large bag in. In return Easyjet would gives us our tickets with our seat numbers and we would be off to Gay Paree. b) Or else they would tell us sorry but we don’t have any tickets under our names and to please sod off. (Can you guess that I have never seen Airline?) Reality:
We waited for a short period of time until the bored looking check-in clerk could to check us in and look at our passports (a worrying moment for me as my passport photo made ...

It is simple to book on-line, and the prices can be excellent if you get in early enough. About 12 of us travelled to the wedding using Easyjet and I heard no complaints, apart from the points I have mentioned. Although the choice of destinations is not huge, they are increasing the number of airports they fly to/from all the time, so go to their website to ...

...due to depart on my EasyJet flight on September 15, I watched the news nervously as airports closed and flights were cancelled. I had never flown on EasyJet before, and was not at all sure what to expect in terms of customer service and their response to the crisis. I am pleased to report that on the whole, EasyJet did very well. Here's my view on what was good and what was poor about the service they offered during a time when airline travel was ... ...on this basis.
THE EASYJET RESPONSE TO SEPTEMBER 11:
The first thing I did upon hearing of airports closing and flight disruption was to check the EasyJet website. EasyJet communicate best through this medium, and there were immediate and continual news updates on the site as the situation unfolded. Initially many flights within the UK as well as those on some European routes were disrupted. The explanation was that additional security measures ...

...just booked a flight with Easyjet flying from Liverpool to Amsterdam and back again. Not the first time i have used them - been to Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga before - but the it's first time i've got a return ticket for less than 50 quid. You'de be lucky to get to London for that if you live in the North. In fact i paid a total of £40.70 including airport tax. Not bad eh?

It has the feeling of a local bus station with most of the shops keeping normal high street opening hours which seems a bit strange. Although both Liverpool and Luton (the main UK bases for Easyjet) are growing very rapidly. Indeed Liverpool has just been renamed Liverpool John Lennon (who else? well I suppose it's better than Lily Savage).
However, you ...

...cheaper yet equally effective service, Easyjet is for you.
To me flying is not something I particularly enjoy and spending more to 'do it in style' a luxurious first class lounger is, in my opinion not worth it. Flying easyjet is certainly not stylish. From the basic airport waiting rooms to the garish tangerine coloured aeroplanes, the experience is hardly luxurious, but luxury is not what easyjet is about.

You may have seen ITV's 'Airport' programme and will have noticed flights are quite often prone to delays. However if you really are on a tight schudule, you may want to look for an alternative. Arriving late can also be a problem ...

The actual booking of the flight was remarkably straight forward and I was able to do this all online for free. Advantages: Bargain prices, punctual, efficient Disadvantages: Lack of in-flight perks (a nuisance on longer flights).
I started flying with easyJet as soon as I found out that a return from London Luton to Amsterdam was only £35, including tax. Since then, I have used the airline at least six times on this particular route. easyJet achieve these low prices by cutting down on certain inessential cost areas, e.g. agents, paid-for in-flight meals, movies, etc. easyJet proudly presents itself as a "ticketless airline", and this is indeed the case. Excessively punctual, in some cases, since about half of my flights arrived at the destination ten to fifteen minutes before scheduled arrival time. Obviously, the in-flight entertainment is scanty to say the least. A free easyJet magazine is about all you can ...

...friend had insisted on checking, Easyjet themselves made no attempt to contact us about the changed time and they would have tried to charge us for a full ticket if we were late. Easyjet are a ticketless airline so you basically just show your passport to get the ticket. My wife and my children had never flown on an aircraft before and as we wanted to go to Scotland for a mid-week break we decided to fly there. I have flown with easy jet a few times without tomany problems but my last experience was not so good, and left me less than impressed with this company. We were going on a family holiday to Bulgaria to spend new year away. We arrived at Gatwick airport two hours before check in as requested. Advantages: Good selection of routes, decent customer service Disadvantages: Can be pricey, best deals are early or late in the day
...thing that I like about Easyjet is that they fly from my local airport (East Midlands) to Geneva, which is where I often want to go as I used to live there, and the alps are nearby for skiing.
Booking with Easyjet is simple, and depending on the route, they show you flights the day before and after to compare prices. However, don't always assume that Easyjet (or any of the others) is the cheapest. I have seen higher fares (well over £200) to Geneva ... ...about the best deals.
Easyjet flies to main airports, which saves time and money, even if the actual fare is a bit higher than the competition.
The ability to book oneway fares is good, as you can book the flight in two legs, coming back to a different airport if that is the best deal. But you are charged the credit card booking fee of £4 twice if you do that, although debit cards don't carry the charge.
Their most recent and highly useful innovation ...

Easyjet has to be the best known no frills airline. You have to admit, almost everyone you will ever speak to will recognise the Easyjet brand or the bright orange planes!

...Booking on the internet with Easyjet was simple. We arrived at Luton for the flight and had previously decided that we wanted to book in as early as possible, so we had the best choice of seats.
Easyjet do not allocate seats, they allocate you a number and load the plane in groups, starting with the lowest numbers first. So first come is first served.

It got a space on the tarmac with a courtesy bus. This would be fine, but not in a tropical downpour and also not when the airport doesn't cover the luggage it collects from the plane. The return journey also showed two further disadvantages of Easyjet. Firstly, the numbering system. In Nice, 1 to 30 were not the first ...
