~~ Who are they?
EasyJet are a low cost, no frills airline based at London Luton Airport. They fly to various UK destinations, as well as key places within Europe. They were founded about 5 years ago by a Greek man called Stelios. There are many low cost airlines now, including Go and Buzz. Although EasyJet were really the first to emerge.
~~ So how do they manage to be low cost?

You simply use the click down boxes to select to select your departure point, your destination, the dates and number of passengers. The options for the details that you entered are then shown - you will see a list of possible outbound and inbound flights, showing dates, ...

...THE ITINERARY
EasyJet do a twice daily service to Geneva from London Luton, and at the end of April once the skiing season is well and truly over, the prices plummet to a ridiculously low level. A return to Geneva leaving on Thursday returning on Monday for £59, including taxes? Now you are talking. As a caveat – the cost does go up as you get closer to flight time - this price was obtained a couple of months in advance.
It was easy to book ... ...GET OUT OF THAT! EasyJet provide you with a number to call for any enquiries. Once I found a fully functional payphone I called the number (I don’t have a mobile – I’m a bit of luddite). It was an automated call service of course, which informed me I would have to hold for aproximately five minutes. I waited and fed money into the phone. Five minutes later I was actually talking to a real person – a sweet, lovely, wonderful, ...

Now the cheap and cheerful airline is quite an interesting experience. ~~~ Book Early ~~~~ The prices with EasyJet are certainly very good. The lady at EasyJet offered to call him back in an hour to confirm if he wanted the flights. She duly called an hour later but unfortunately he had gone off to the loo. I considered this good service as she had held 14 seats open for him before he made his payment. ~~~~ Checking In – Luton ...

I flew to Barcelona with easyJet last week and after reading a negative op on the airline today, I would like to share my thoughts on the company too (no disrespect intended andyrev!).
As most of you will already know, easyJet are an award winning low cost airline and recently came sixth in a "Best airline" survey, beating British Airways. I chose to fly with easyJet for two reasons; cost and departure from Liverpool airport, which was convenient ... ...cost 121.00 in total and easyJet have a policy of charging separately for each leg of your journey. My outward journey cost 71.00
and the return fare was 50.00. In addition, easyJet will let you change your return date (subject to availability)for a nominal sum of 10.00 to cover administrative costs.
So how do easyJet manage to keep the cost of their flights so low? Do they skimp on staff training? Are the planes basic and uncomfortable? Are the ...

...Our first trip using EasyJet was from Luton to Corfu (EasyJet have two main offices, based in Luton and Liverpool), a flight of around three and a half hours aboard one of EasyJet’s Boeing 737s. We arrived at the airport some two hours before departure as requested on our booking details and check in was relatively straightforward. The queues were fairly short as we’d arrived in plenty of time, later they did become quite long. The EasyJet ... ...was that everything provided by EasyJet is bright orange, the plane itself, the stewards/stewardess’ outfits and all accessories, a bit of a turn off if your tummy is churning and you’re feeling slightly sick with nerves! Carrot coloured uniforms all around you is the last thing you want to be looking at!
A meal was included on the flight as part of the basic price plan, not the most exciting of gourmet treats, but was certainly edible ...

Advantages: easy to navigate, cheap, friendly colours. Disadvantages: Not many destinations.
In November last year myself and a group of friends decided we would go to Amsterdam. The first thing we all needed to decide was who to fly/sail with.
A few ideas were brandished about and it was decided that we would fly. So off I went to get various web addresses - BA, KLM and Easy Jet.
The first two, although the sites were fairly easy to use the prices were way above my budget of £60.
I typed in the URL http://www.easyjet.com and up popped ... ...as orange is one of my favourite colours. Next I needed to know if they did Amsterdam flights. I went to the booking page and they have a really simple form with - 1. A list of destinations to choose from and to
2. Flying schedule - (out 21/3/02) (return 24/3/02)
3. number of passengers
4. A SHOW PRICES button
That was it!!!

I had to attend a conference in Belfast and decided to try the ‘easy’ experience with Easy Jet. Like many people I had become enthralled by the ‘Airline’ programme and it’s behind the scenes view of airport life.
A quick Yahoo! Search found the Website (easyjet.com). The booking was swift and easy (as promised) and the fares were very reasonable costing just £60.

...number of positive reviews for Easyjet here. I use them fairly frequently to fly from my home (Malaga) to the UK so I thought I'd write a review myself in order to redress the balance.

Now I notice that many other reviewers seem to think Easyjet nice and on-time, but that is not my experience at all. Every single flight I have ever been on with Easyjet has been dalyed by at least 20 minutes, some for over an hour. It seems that there is a downside to having "the fastest flight turnaround time" - that one late flight has a knock-on effect throughout the day. Also many delays ...

...What made us go for EasyJet were the prices and the availability of the flights. It was also very easy to book through thier website and pay for. One thing you do not get is a ticket, it's all done by computer to cut the cost. Easyjet also through thier website enable to book car parking and car hire, which we used and it worked well.

I have used Easy jet over 40 times in the past three years, mainly for business within the UK & for short city breaks to Europe. My company gives me the option, fly with a budget airline or drive. As I live in Scotland & the company is based in the south of England, Easy Jet is my savior.

A very strange magazine that seemed to advertise Northern Ireland as a prime tourist location on the basis that it has lots of people aged under 30 and lots of people fully employed.
