We booked a flight to Italy Marco Polo Airport, using Easy Jet on line. What a nightmare!
Firstly they have a policy that they must give 14 days notice if they change your flight.
Well guess what they changed our return flight, they did give us more than 14 days notice, however this did not stop us from losing a day of our holiday as we were given an earlier flight. To ensure that all deatils were correct i printed off confirmation of the flight ... ...Bristol airport to check in for our oward flight we were told that our outward flight had changed also!!! we were 24hrs early! which means that we had now lost 2 days of our holiday!!
After much discussion we were given a flight from Gatwick, only problem we had to make our own way there from Bristol!!! Again much dicussion took place.... They agreed to transport us to Gatwick sousce a hotel and pay for our evening meal. we had to pay all costs ...

Advantages: Value for money. Disadvantages: No frills service
I've been using Easyjet since their inception. Initially they were recommended by a co-worker who suggested using them as an alternative to a 1000 mile round trip by car (travelling to England from the North of Scotland). At first I was skeptical (having been used to the likes of BA, British Midland etc.). My fears were totally unfounded. The service is no frills, and is as subject to delays as any other airline but overall there are few airlines ... ...the most unusual features of Easyjet is that it's a 'ticketless' airline. A reference number is allocated on booking which you then use at the airport to check-in. Seats are not allocated at the airport, and boarding is conducted according to order of arrival at check-in.
The major plus is the cost - it's approximately £29 for a single fare to Scotland (often less). There are advantages for those booking online - current savings are £5 per booking. ...

Advantages: friendly,and courtious Disadvantages: limited choices of destinations
recently my wife, who is disabled decided to try a foriegn holiday for the first time since she became disabled.we booked on the net with easyjet, and advised them of the circumstances surrounding my wife.the lady who dealt with us e-mailed their response within 6hours assuring us that they would look after us, and they most certainly did.we arrived at liverpool airport, reported to the check in, and immediately received an escort to the plane, which ... ...get seats with plenty of room.nothing was too much trouble.when we arrived at Malaga we were met with transport,taken through customs and even taken to the taxi stand. it was the same on the way back-- what pleasant people are employed by the company.
i have recommened them to my friends, and will certainly use them again.
we cannot speak too highly of them

...you pay for! I use Easyjet to fly from Belfast to Luton, this usually costs me less than £50 return. For that money I get a reliable flight departure ( not delayed once, YET) and an adequate check-in system. OK, it is a fighting match if the flight is full to get the seat you want, but they do release the passengers to the plane in numerical order according to when they check-in. No food supplied? OK there's not, but on a flight that lasts no more ... ...you leave the house!. If I wanted a cooked breakfast with coffee and a free newspaper, I could always pay at least £40 extra and travel with British Midland to Heathrow. Easyjets aircraft are just as modern as any other fleet and we should be applauding them for taking on the big boys and suppling the travelling public with a low cost good value alternative to their overpriced competitors. ...

...pleasant restaurant above the Easyjet check-in. Both flights were delayed, 20min on the way out, and 50min on the way back. This was not a problem for us travelling as a couple.
If you are organised and can book some months ahead I would certainly recommend Easyjet. ...

I have always enjoyed flying Easyjet and have done so on several occasions most commonly on the Belfast-Liverpool route. Obviously excellent value for money if you book well in advance and don't try to travel on a football Saturday.
The staff range from friendly to rude but anyone with a grain of common sense and the ability to understand that an airport is simply a bus station with a luggage carousel will have no difficulty looking after themselves.

Eventually, I returned to Easyjet on-line. I booked my flight for the princely sum of £147.00. Add to that the hire car, again through EasyJet, which cost £39.00, and I did my round trip for under £200.00.
OK, if I had wanted a cup of coffee, I would have had to pay for it. And yes, driving to Luton was a bit of a pain. But the parking was cheap, the service was excellent and the flights, there and back, were both on time.

...to fly to spain with easyjet this summer due to their large orange posters everywhere advertising cheap flights. The flights were very cheap but do not expect any trimmings or frills. The fact that you could book via the internet and receive money off is also good and this has been extended since our flights were booked. The cabin crew are very helpful. The seats are a bit on the small side with not much room and dont expect any freebies - the provide ... ...pricey - mini bottle of wine - 2.50, 3 jaffa cakes 50p, mini can of fizzy drink 50p, pringles snack size 1.00, sandwichs from 2.50 but these were a little cold and hard in the middle. My advice - take your own food and entertainment (also none provided - but for the cost, i wasnt expecting much) We had a delay of 3 hours on the way home but that can happen with any airline. i would recommend this airline to anyone who wants to get cheap fights around ...

I have flown Easyjet a lot to many different destinations and at least 8 times in 2006 so far.
I have to say, my general feeling about this airline is very positive.
On most ocassions I have flown with them I have enjoyed the experience.
The booking proccess on their website is very straightforward and it only takes couple of minutes to complete the booking with them.
They generally offer very good value for money particularly if you ... ...onboard.
In my eyes, Easyjet is no longer just a low cost airline, but a major player with it's + and - It flies to major airports to a lot of destinations. It can offer good value for money, but so can other airlines.
So, next time I book, I will have no hesitation booking them as long as they offer competitive price.
To give you an idea of my ability to compare, this year(2006) so far I flew on BA, BMI, Swiss, Lufthansa, Easyjet, Aeroflot, Ryanair ...

...and decided to fly with EasyJet as it seemed a very good deal. I only needed to fly one way and payed £40. (For comparison, I spent £34 on a return train trip from Bournemouth to London today) Booking
I booked online, which is sooooo easy! Doesn't cost a phone call and you don't have to leave the room! Got confirmation sent to me in an email, after paying with credit card (The website is secured). I printed out the email with my confirmation number ... ...I arrived at Luton airport, which admitedly does not have much to do, but there are a good selection of shops. I collected my ticket at the check-in desk and preceeded to the flight lounge. 10 mins later and I was boarding. Walked out to the plane, and take off was 10mins late. We made up time though, but unfortunately had to stack above Zürich, not EasyJets fault. Arrived about 15mins late.
Food on the plane is not included, but for £40 what do ...

...hassle. My family have used EasyJet quite a lot of times, and it’s just great. The easyjet website is great for looking up the availability of tickets, and you can I think book online. I have flown from Luton and it was really good. It was so simple flying, nice and direct. I wouldn’t suggest EasyJet for long hour trips across continents, because then you will need pampering and I don’t think that’s it’s greatest assets. ... ...is excellent. My only problem is that you do not get too much leg room, which can leave you with pins and needles, but as I told the air hostess I was moved to a more comfortable seat. The best thing is to arrive early so you get a better seat.
Overall a really good service is provided by EasyJet, quick and direct. Although, there can be some delays but you get that with most airlines. ...

I love easyJet. I would quite happily bear its children, who to take after their airline parent would have to be bright orange, friendly, useful and above all else extremely affordable. Well, if such a thing were possible, I would certainly do it.
You see, long-distance relationships aren't easy things to carry on at the best of times, but when the distance in question is over 600 miles, transport tends to become a priority in a young woman's thoughts. ... ...with their daily regular flights between Aberdeen and London Luton, have helped me to be very happy indeed. Although in my experience their flights have been slightly delayed, this appeared to be in no way the airline's fault, and all the staff were friendly, polite and helpful - perfect for soothing the butterflies in any young lover's stomach!
Of course, there's no inflight meal, but to be honest would you miss it on a one hour flight? I certainly ...

...(both outwards and return). well Easyjet did for me and my wife recently twice!! Couple that with outstanding value, if you book early, quick and easy check-in (no queues or ridiculously premature check in times) and you have the makings of a truly great service.
It is worth booking as far ahead as possible and being flexibel in your flight timings as this will ensure the best savings. Also if you plan to travel fairly regularly sign up for the ...

I have used Easyjet for travbel to Europe before. I was lured, like so many others, by their cheap flight tickets.
I was most impressed by its ticketless culture as I personally hate airline tickets. After your purchase, you are issued a reference number which you need to show in order to check in. Next you will be given a boarding number - there are no seat numbers as it is based on a first come first served basis, meaning the earlier you check ... ...like.
Not all tickets by EasyJet is cheaper than traditional airlines, especially where there are special offers. Do look around for the best deal. Finally, budget airlines sometimes fly to out-of-town airports so please do check before you buy your tickets, especially when you are going to an unfamiliar destination. ...
