I recently flew on Emirates airlines to Dubai from Birmingham International, and then back again obviously, 12 days later! Emirates bill themselves as an award winning airline, having won 190 awards for excellence, including Airline of the Year in 2000. Gulf Air were £30 cheaper but we were warned against them due to their reputation for delays. When you are doing a 21-hour journey the last thing you want is delays. Imust explain that we won this trip so we had no choice in the airline we flew with but if and I hope we do go again we would fly with these again.
