Disadvantages: Flights with Emirates aren't available from all UK airports

We flew with Emirates from Heathrow when we went on honeymoon and found the airline to be fantastic. It is a United Arab Emirates airline, with its HQ based in Dubai. A few weeks prior to departure, we contacted Emirates to pre-book our seats so that we knew we would be sitting together. Disadvantages: Takes longer than average

I love the emirates airline a lot, although I have only use this airline once. As an experience, I went back China by emirates airline. The whole journy takes me 17 hours, 7 hours to Dubai, then wait three hours in Dubai airport, and another 7hours to Beijing. This is about 4-5 hours longer than other airlines. Disadvantages: Nothing that I can think of.

Emirates are rated as an excellent airline in the form of its services and safety not to mention hospitality. It has won many ‘airline of the year awards’ and the reasons for it winning these awards are true. The food on the flight is really delicious and the in-flight entertainment is great. From a fuzzy, moldy salad to getting bumped from a confirmed flight, lied to about how they'd fix the situation, trapped in an airport for 20 hours with no concession for my lost time or money... Emirates did everything wrong. I'll never fly them again, and all my business partners will book on other airlines. SUCH a disappointment after hearing good things. Oh well... there are plenty of other airlines on the planet, eh?

I have travelled with Emirates to Dubai, Sydney & Singapore on more than one occassion with Emirates and have always arrived at my destination in a good mood and ready for work. Emirates are not a budget airline, but appear to pride themselves on having a superb quality of service. If I wanted to find cheaper flights I could do so with the likes of Singapore Airlines or one of the other middle east companies, but I find it more important to arrive ... Read review

Advantages: Clean, comfortable, efficient and friendly.
Disadvantages: None known.

I have flown with Emirates airline on many occasions and have never had cause to complain. The planes are always clean and comfortable, the cabin crew are exeptionally polite and helpful and the drinks are free of charge and there for the asking. I've always got the impression of more leg room but don't have any statistics to confirm it.
