Moscow Dubai flight: New A330, 2-3-2 seating worse than in other normal airlines (Air France, Swiss, Lufthansa etc.who all have 2-2-2 in Business)
Excellent food, but staff is nice but no pro-active and so international that there is no cabin service cohesion.

Taking Long Haul Flights with Emirates comes highly recomended. The service and comfort are above and beyond other airlines. Advantages: smoking inter-gulf flights - extremely efficent service Disadvantages: expensive
Having recently flown with Emirates on an inter-gulf flight from Qatar, I must say it was the most pleasant, if short, experience I have ever had on a plane! Not only is it the only airline to allow smoking on an inter-gulf flight, but the cabin crew were extremely efficent and polite. Emirates is a fantastic airline the proud new sponsors to Arsenals new multi-million pound stadium. The planes are modern, clean and spacious. The staff are freindly and helpful. There is a tv behind every seat in every plane and this means you won't get bored with music, international new movies and games alike.
The only minor disadvantage is that you have to stop over in dubai, which some people may not like as it may not be the quickest route ...

...had such bad experience with Emirates and its way of handling passengers under medical conditions. They exaggerate the matter right till the end unnecessarily and leave the passenger unknown till the very last minute if they could fly or not. Dubai took 6 days to determine if my friend could travel or not. The green lights were given only hours before the flight when the medical forms were faxed 8 days before the flight!. Advantages: Modern planes, good cabin crew Disadvantages: Poor baggage service
I've flown Emirates about 16 times in the last 2 years. I like their service from my regional airport - Birmingham. I've flown both Economy and Business class and the service from the crew has been excellent, in flight food and entertainment is well above average.
The one thing that lets them down in my opinion is the baggage service. If you have a tight transfer in Dubai, you can almost guarantee that your bags will not make it, and if they don't, ...

I was going on Hoilday with my family, and was flying from Manchester Airport with Emerates, which was the best airline for I think 3 consecutive years. Well anyway we were traveling in ecomomy. were shall i begin, the cabin space was too small, there werent enough leg room in the seats, it was all cramped, and falling apart especially the small tv screen in front of you. * Its really frustrating, ... ...* Emirates officials at JFK gave me the wrong flight information and sent me to the wrong terminal in LaGuardia airport on Dec 16th while rebooking my connecting flight. They informed me I should take a United Airlines flight to Philadelphia when I reach United Airlines terminal and counter those officals say that there is no such flight...
and heights of it when i called the Emirates customer care number they still argue its the same United airlines ...
