...my ticket changed at the Etihad office, only to be told they couldn't extend my ticket as I had brought it on promotion and instead I would have to buy a brand new ticket. Quite a shock. There was another Eithad office in the town center and I went to them, they changed it without question and for the £50 fee initally quoted. ...years and has been using Etihad Airlines. I find the ground staff in Toronto, to be the best i have encountered in all my years of travel. However, the ground staff in Abu Dhabi needs to improve their effeciency. It may be that their offices out of the airport are too congested, with dozens of flight arriving and leaving every hour. II used Etihad airways three times during the last ten months and I am a member of Etihad guest for building up miles in each flight. They have also a family membership where you can include the miles of your family to your account. It is a new airline. Advantages: nice break in journey at halfway point
Disadvantages: slightly longer flight

booking was as easy as with other airlines, the main difference is that i have paid just £450 for a flight from heathrow to bangkok via abu dhabi, for peak season! other quotes i have had were in the region of £1000+. emailing there helpdesk.. wow! they replied! i asked for info on their baggage allowance. withing 17 hrs i had a reply... 30 kg!!! yes i said 30kg! to get this amount you would have to fly economy plus with most east bound airlines. i ... I think the air line is so so. But their staff specially ground staff needs courses in courtesy. I and most of my friends had a very bad experience in Islamabad Pakistan. The ticket office staff in Peshawar and Islamabad is also not professional.

...after travelling with the delightful Etihad Airways. The flight was great and I hate flying with a passion. There was great In-flight entertainment with touch screens to watch a good selection of films, play games or listen to a good selection of music. The staff were friendly and the flight was smooth there and back. Abu dhabi to Bangkok is more stressful because it's busier and the leg room is a bit small but other than that they were brilliant. ... Read review
