...we always book into The Express by Holiday Inn hotel. Obviously being part of a chain, it doesn't stand out from the crowd and is probably like all the other Express by Holiday Inns all over the world, but it's a very functional hotel, clean and spacious, bright and central and it is very good value for a city hotel. We always book via the internet and have usually paid between £60 and £70 for a room for the 4 of us, although this is usually booked ... ...conveniently situated on the Lower Bristol Road and it is only a short walk away from the centre of Bath. There are 126 rooms (91 are non-smoking) over 4 floors all with WIFI access, en-suite shower, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, cable/satellite TV and in-room movies. The rooms are spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children and there is a large lounge bar which is handy for when you come back from traipsing round the sites ...
