...Holiday Inn Express (HIE) is a great mid range hotel group, all the hotels offer practically the same facilities and you know what your getting for your money, a decent hotel with basic facilities and a "free" continental breakfast being the order of the day. Having stayed in several up and down the country I'm reassured by the fact they don't tend to differ much in design, facilities and price. ...the end of the day how much time do you actually spend in your room really.
I would certainly recommend it if you are on a budget and for families too.

Advantages: Convenient to sight seeing and Waterloo Disadvantages: A bit of a walk to the tube
...The Holiday Inn Express Hotels differ from the usual Holdiay Inn Hotels, as they are aimed at the business one night stay market, and amenities like gym, swimming pool etc are not available.
