Advantages: Good location but not in City centre. Disadvantages: None if booked for what it is for.
We were to attend a Family Wedding, the reception to be held at the Marriott Hotel Peterborough.
Needed a good value Hotel for the group and found this Hotel was just across the road from the Marriott.
Booked thru BOOKING.COM and got three rooms.
1 Double, 1 Room for two adults and one child, 1 Room for two adults and two children.
The Room prices were all the same £45 per night, with breakfast. Children sharing a room with two adults come free.
... ...wedding was at 12 o'clock so did not want to rush on the Sat morning.
We wre due to arrive at 8 Fri Evening, I emailed this to the hotel and received a swift reply that this had been noted on our reservation.
There is a link on the hotel web site for travel details, it is located just off the A1 next to the Peterborough Showground, so if struggling follow any sigh you see for the Show Ground, the Hotel is next to the entrance..

Advantages: Close to the East Of England Showground Disadvantages: Small Bathrooms
I stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn, Peterborough when my work Christmas Party was held at the East Of England Showground. I booked the hotel room about a month before via ichotels.com, who i have a priority club through. The first thing I noticed was that the hotel have a very limited amount of car parking spaces, not generally a problem but our group of four all had cars, we managed to find spaces (some on the hotel site and some on the street), ... ...was very light , quiet and nicely decorated. Reception staff were quick to locate our reservation and check us all in, we were all advised about the breakfast buffet which was included in the price of the room (nice surprise - none of us knew this).
Thankfully both twin rooms were located close by (you know girls - all that swapping make-up and hair straightners) and all rooms were opened using the key-card system.
