Advantages: The most beautiful place I've ever been to Disadvantages: Isolated
I went to the Faeroe Islands on my way to Iceland. In fact I HAD to go there, since the boat to Iceland dropped us off at the Faeroe Islands while going to Norway to pick up more passengers for Iceland. Therefore I had to spend two days on this group of islands. Smyril Line was the name of the ferry company, and I started my journey in Esbjerg in Denmark.The return ticket to Iceland cost less than £200. When we took off from Torshavn we drove through the fog, unable to see anything of the surroundings. However, when we started to go downhill, the fog cleared and revealed the most beautiful valley in between ...
