A restaurant with rooms

Advantages: The Food
Disadvantages: Not inexpensive

The Falcon Hotel is one of Cornwall's oldest coaching inns. It is not the cheapest place to stay, 2006 prices were £52.50 per person (off peak) per night B & B. The hotel has a website which contains information on the hotel, tariff etc (www.falconhotel.com). Advantages: Central
Disadvantages: Expensive

It was help yourself to cereal and juice, then we were given a menu with various cooked breakfasts. It was really nicely cooked. Downstairs there is a very smart looking restaurant and a more relaxed bar but as we didn't eat ...
...Our room was at the front of the hotel, the major drawback of this being the noise of revellers leaving the Brendan Arms late at night and, early the next morning, a crowd of very noisy, excited ducks on the canal as the sun came up! (Can't really blame the hotel for that though!) Bed and Breakfast cost us £115 (for two of us in a double room). I'd have to sum up by saying it was a nice hotel, but not so special that I'd want to make a point of ...
