...Tenerife which was booked with First Choice. The accommodation was excellent but I cannot say the same for the rep. We met her on the bus from the airport to our apartments and the next day at the welcome meeting but saw no sign of her after that- even at the appointed times she was supposed to visit.She advised us to get a safety deposit box but failed to inform us that it would cost us almost £15 - only £4 of which was refunded. I had an excellent holiday but no thabks to the rep - I would prefer to pay less money for my holidays than to pay for non-existent services provided by the holiday company. In future I will book with another company. ...

...Skiathos, Greece. We went with First Choice, not for the first time, therefore flying with Air 2000. We were told at the airport our flight was about 20 minutes late, when we checked in at 12.30. Our bags were loaded onto the little trucks and left outside awaiting the arrival of our plane. Some time later it was announced that our plane had developed a technical problem and was in Thessoloniki. Our baggage was out in the rain. At 18.45ish we were ... ...all this the reps from first choice were brilliant. They kept us informred and offered advice. The hotel we were sent to was a 4 star hotel and this made the delay almost enjoyable. I cannot fault the staff at the airport apart fron having our bags getting wet. ...booked a holiday online with first choice, it was easy to find the holiday i desired, it was easy to navigate, quick, safe and i received a BIG discount for booking online! I paid £258 for a weeks stay in Fuerteventura, all inclusive, in november. Confirmation came through immediately, and the tickets were with me within two weeks! I thought at first they weren't going to arrive, so i rang customer services, the number was on the website, I didn't ... ...constantly! So i'd stay away from the market in the future! The holiday was a bargin! All transfers and meals were included in the price. I want to go back again! ...Hayes & Jarvis, owned by First Choice, to Cuba for my honeymoon. There were a series of screw ups with Hayes & Jarvis. The first week we were on a tour of the island. On arriving at Havana we were shunted into a tiny room even though we had stated on our booking that we were on a honeymoon couple and requested an upgrade. Luckily our tour guide sorted it out for us. Later on in the first week we were in a similar situation and the tour guide pulled ... ...for all the inconvenience they put me through. I told them that this was insufficient. I contacted First Choice who abdicated all responsibility of the affair. My advice is forget First Choice and try someone else, they and their subsidiaries don’t give a hoot ! ...

Advantages: Very good at pretending they care PRIOR to travel... Disadvantages: ..Once you've boarded the plane for your holiday resort, they lose all interest!
Recently travelled with First Choice and was bitterly dissapointed in them.
They made mistakes with our booking from the start of our holiday, had no interest in putting it right, just kept telling us we needed to sort it out once we had returned to the UK. The seats and film choices on the plane were the best thing...however, they forgot to put any headphones on board on both our outbound and return journeys, so didn't get to watch them! Useless.
... ...no better than the reps on our resort. I have sent two emails to them and both times they have replied, clearly not having read my emails properly, and contradicted almost everything I have written to them!
Will never use First Choice again, and would certainly not recommend them! ...

I am so angry with this company that I don't know where to start. My experience with them has been very stressful and has made my blood boil, they ruined my holiday. On many occasions I have tried to resolve an issue with them which was quite straight forward but every time I phoned to speak to the appropriate person I would be fobbed off from one person to the other. It seemed that no one was interested in helping, even their customer service which ... ...what I have been through with them so my advice would be to avoid them at all costs. The problem with the company is that I lost a large deposit on a holiday that I booked which I was trying to resolve, it was an easy issue to resolve but like I have said they did not listen. To save yourselves any unnecesary stress and ruin your holiday plans look elsewhere where they actually treat you like a human being and not just another mug. This in my mind ...
