...As already pointed out they first came here when they bought out an already existing company, and many people thought that this was a good thing as it meant a bigger company was a much stronger one – or is it? Almost as soon as they had taken over, they began to change some of the routes and timings around the city. A balance between good and bad.

Advantages: Buses are more frequent than they used to be and new routes have been introduced.
Disadvantages: They often break down and aren't waterproof in the rain!

First provide a wide range of bus networks around Devon and Cornwall. As I live in Cornwall I will refer to these services in my review. As a general rule, the buses are dirty and fares have gone up in recent years. However, reliability has increased somewhat, and the frequency of some buses have been increased. Another point to consider is that Cornwall seems to be the 'bus graveyard' of England, most service buses are over 20 years old, this ...
...my bus broke down on the A30! On balance, First serves rural communities well and tries to provide a good service with limited resources. Buses are also a good option for tourists, I would not recommend driving cars through the narrow streets of Mousehole/Marazion/St Ives etc during the summer! ...
